Alexandria Knowledge ParkTM (AKP)

Incepted in 2001, Alexandria Knowledge ParkTM (AKP) was developed in a Public Private Partnership mode with the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP). Today AKP has evolved as a preferred destination for leading Indian and Global companies to conduct research & development activities. IKP Knowledge Park (IKP)

IKP Knowledge Park (IKP) developed by ICICI Bank, with the support of Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP), has a blend of ready-to-use multi-tenanted modular wet laboratory blocks (Innovation Corridors) with in-built flexibility around some common, shared facilities and support services, as well as developed land for customised R&D facilities. Currently, the 140,000 SF Innovation Corridor 1(phase I, II and III) with 84,000 SF of wet laboratory space is operational. Around 35 acres of land has been developed with utilities for customized R&D centers. Functioning with an objective of nurturing an environment for innovation and the expected growth in life sciences and related fields, IKP nestles in a 200-acre pollution free zone in Genome Valley. Lonza India Pvt. Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lonza Bioproducts AG. Lonza offers its full product portfolio in India and covers an entire cross section of the life sciences industry. The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT)

The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) is a non-profit, non-political organization that conducts agricultural research for development in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa with a wide array of partners throughout the world. Covering 6.5 million square kilometers of land in 55 countries, the semi-arid or dryland tropics has over 2 billion people, and 644 million of these are the poorest of the poor.
